Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and legally-minded Payroll Executive with 2-4 years of experience, holding an LLM degree, to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, adhering to all relevant labor laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian payroll laws and their practical application.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws (e.g., PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax Deductions).
- Interpret and apply complex legal provisions related to payroll, compensation, and benefits, leveraging LLM knowledge.
- Manage employee data and ensure its integrity within the payroll system.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, taxes, and statutory deductions with professionalism and legal accuracy.
- Prepare and file all necessary statutory returns and reports to relevant government authorities.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated with amendments in labor laws and tax regulations impacting payroll.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on payroll-related matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in handling employee payroll information.
