Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to forecast demand accurately.
- Manage stock replenishment processes, including placing orders, tracking shipments, and verifying deliveries.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to monitor stock movements, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce stock obsolescence, damage, and shrinkage.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on inventory data analysis.
