Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher role in Electronics Manufacturing

We are seeking a diligent and organized Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher with 2-4 years of experience to join our facility in Coimbatore. While the primary function is kitchen support, the role demands a foundational understanding of organizational principles, often associated with a B.Com background, to ensure efficient inventory management and adherence to hygiene standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our employee canteen and kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring it meets all hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and inventory, applying principles of stock management.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as washing vegetables or portioning ingredients.
- Regularly clean and maintain kitchen floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and dishwashing detergents, reporting any shortages.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
