Power Plant Technician

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power Plant Technician with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree to join our team in Vijayawada. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our power generation infrastructure, with a focus on leveraging technological solutions for monitoring, control, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance, coupled with a strong understanding of IT systems and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate power plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Analyze operational data using MCA-acquired skills to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and manage IT-based monitoring and control systems for the power plant.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, documenting all activities and findings.
- Respond to operational emergencies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and optimize power plant systems.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports on plant operations, maintenance, and performance.
- Utilize software tools for data analysis, predictive maintenance, and operational reporting.
