Shift Manager / Supervisor

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shift Manager/Supervisor with a Master's degree in Design (M.Des) to oversee daily operations within our Chennai facility. This role requires a unique blend of operational management acumen and a strong understanding of creative workflows, visual aesthetics, and user experience principles, crucial for optimizing our content production and delivery processes in the dynamic entertainment sector. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution of tasks, maintain quality standards, and manage resources effectively during their assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all operational activities during a designated shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality benchmarks.
Lead and motivate a team of operational staff, providing guidance and support to achieve shift objectives.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, with a particular focus on creative output quality and efficiency.
Monitor and manage resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., creative, technical, post-production) to ensure smooth project progression and address any operational bottlenecks.
Utilize design thinking principles to analyze operational challenges and propose innovative solutions for process improvement.
Ensure a safe and productive working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate shift records, including production logs, incident reports, and performance metrics.
Conduct regular quality checks on deliverables, ensuring they align with creative briefs and client expectations.
Manage the flow of assets and information within the shift, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
Respond effectively to unforeseen issues or emergencies, implementing contingency plans as needed.
