Sommelier (2-4 Yrs) role in Telecom / ISP

Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sommelier with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a Sommelier at Jio Platforms, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our client engagement and internal brand experience by curating and managing our beverage programs, focusing on wine and other premium beverages. This role is ideal for an Any Graduate with a passion for oenology and a keen understanding of customer preferences within the telecommunications and ISP sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive wine and premium beverage list for client meetings, corporate events, and executive lounges.
- Conduct regular wine tastings and training sessions for staff to ensure a high level of service and knowledge.
- Source and procure wines and other beverages, negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best quality and value.
- Maintain an organized and updated inventory of all beverages, including cellar management.
- Provide expert recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders based on their preferences and the occasion.
- Stay abreast of current trends in the wine and beverage industry, both globally and within India.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing and service regulations.
