Chief Safety Officer (CSO)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Chief Safety Officer (CSO) to oversee and implement comprehensive safety protocols within our Kochi facility. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment, minimizing risks, and complying with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in a relevant field and 2-5 years of experience in industrial safety management, preferably within the chemical sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for all employees, ensuring awareness of safety protocols.
- Maintain all safety-related documentation and records, including risk assessments and emergency preparedness plans.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable safety practices.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to integrate safety into all operational activities.
- Manage the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements in safety management.
