Deck Fitter / Welder - Power (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Deck Fitter / Welder with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding components for power generation equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and timely project completion. While the primary role focuses on welding and fitting, a foundational understanding from an MCA degree will be beneficial for interpreting technical drawings and potentially assisting with basic data analysis related to project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for fabrication and assembly.
- Fit and assemble metal components according to specifications.
- Perform various welding operations (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal parts.
- Ensure welds are clean, strong, and meet quality standards.
- Inspect finished work for defects and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment and measuring instruments.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Utilize basic data interpretation skills, potentially derived from MCA coursework, to understand project reports or material specifications.
