EHS Officer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and legally-minded EHS Officer to join our growing team in Mumbai. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across our operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their LLB degree and 4-6 years of experience to develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures, with a strong focus on legal adherence and risk mitigation within the dynamic travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in line with Indian environmental, health, and safety laws.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain all EHS-related documentation, permits, and licenses, ensuring timely renewals.
- Advise management and employees on EHS matters, providing training and awareness programs.
- Stay updated on changes in EHS legislation and best practices relevant to the travel and tourism industry.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external agencies on EHS matters.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to senior management.
