Environmental Officer - Printing & Publishing (3-5 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Environmental Officer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will hold a BBA/BBM degree and will be responsible for ensuring our printing and publishing operations comply with all environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating environmental risks, implementing eco-friendly initiatives, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure compliance with all national and local environmental laws, regulations, and permits pertaining to the printing and publishing industry.

Develop, implement, and maintain environmental management systems and policies to minimize the company's ecological footprint.

Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections of facilities and operations to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.

Investigate environmental incidents, accidents, and complaints, and recommend corrective actions.

Manage waste disposal and recycling programs, ensuring adherence to environmental standards.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and management teams to integrate environmental best practices into daily operations.

Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

Stay updated on new environmental legislation, technologies, and industry trends.

Organize and conduct environmental awareness training for employees.
