Equipment Management Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Management Specialist with a B.Com background to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective management of construction equipment, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, asset tracking, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement equipment management policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all equipment, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
- Monitor equipment utilization rates and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage equipment rental agreements and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on equipment status, costs, and performance for management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the budgeting process for equipment procurement and maintenance.
- Conduct periodic audits of equipment inventory and condition.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast equipment needs.
