Role Summary:

This position is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience looking to apply their BBA/BBM background in a technically driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to select appropriate materials for medical devices and equipment, considering performance, biocompatibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze material properties, conduct failure analysis, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to materials.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate material sourcing options to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement material testing protocols and quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ISO, FDA) related to materials used in healthcare products.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by identifying alternative materials or optimizing material usage.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions.
- Assist in the development of business cases for new material introductions or process changes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in materials science and their application in the healthcare industry.
