We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Second Officer / Mate with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree and a strong understanding of maritime operations and safety protocols. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and safe functioning of our vessel operations. You will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer in all aspects of ship management, including navigation, cargo operations, and crew supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Chief Officer in planning and executing voyages, including route planning and navigation.

Oversee cargo operations, ensuring safe loading, stowage, and discharge.

Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.

Supervise and mentor junior crew members, fostering a safe and efficient working environment.

Conduct regular safety drills and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Maintain ship's records, logbooks, and operational documentation accurately.

Respond effectively to emergency situations and implement established contingency plans.
