Workshop Manager / Supervisor

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Workshop Manager/Supervisor with a Doctorate/PhD to oversee and manage all aspects of our workshop operations in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will bring a strong academic background combined with practical experience in managing technical teams, optimizing workshop processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities, capable of driving efficiency and innovation within the facility management services domain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor workshop operational procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve service quality.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair schedules for all workshop machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures within the workshop.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and facilitate professional development for workshop staff.
- Analyze workshop data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement; propose and implement data-driven solutions.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation within the workshop.
- Liaise with other departments, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve operational issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in facility management and workshop operations.
