Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a Doctorate/PhD to join our Operations, Maintenance & Support team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing complex IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring their continuous availability, performance, and security. You will leverage your advanced analytical and research capabilities to identify and implement innovative solutions for operational challenges, contribute to strategic planning, and drive process improvements. This position requires a deep understanding of IT operations, a strong research background, and the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical, real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operational aspects of critical IT infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and implement advanced strategies for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution, utilizing a data-driven and research-oriented approach.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, proposing and validating innovative solutions.
- Design and execute research projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency, security, and scalability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, engineering, and product management, to ensure seamless integration and support of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including operational procedures, best practices, and research findings.
- Mentor junior team members and share expertise in advanced operational methodologies and research techniques.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to our operations.
