Plant Mechanical Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Plant Mechanical Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of mechanical systems within our telecom infrastructure facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and uptime of our critical plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, power generators, cooling towers, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, implementing timely and effective repair solutions.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and operations staff, to resolve complex issues.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Respond to emergency repair calls as needed to minimize downtime.
