Safety Operations

We are seeking a diligent and legally-minded Safety Operations professional to join our manufacturing facility in Nagpur. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining a secure working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal frameworks related to occupational health and safety, coupled with practical experience in implementing safety protocols. This position is tailored for individuals with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and an LLB degree.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures in line with Indian legal requirements and industry best practices.

Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant national and state safety legislation, including the Factories Act, 1948, and other applicable regulations.

Provide legal interpretation and guidance on safety matters to management and employees.

Manage and maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems.

Organize and deliver safety training programs for all levels of employees.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and external safety consultants.

Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
